Located in the heart of Madrid, Puerta del Sol is a semicircular plaza from which ten streets radiate outwards. A prominent landmark in the square is the Security Headquarters building, a palatial structure in the Neoclassical style dating back to the late 18th century; over the years, it has served as Madrid's central post office, army headquarters, and political police headquarters. Puerta del Sol is a square of great historical significance and a place that truly embodies the local character and spirit of Madrid.

The main stage of the 2015 music festival at Madrid's Puerta del Sol was situated in the heart of the square; throughout the multi-day event, it brought together renowned artists from around the world and a diverse range of musical styles, undoubtedly adding significant luster to Spanish culture.

The organizers invited Spanish audio manufacturer TSA to partner on the concert. Based on the specific venue conditions, TSA designed a three-sided stage audio setup utilizing a system comprising 12 AX-215AS, 6 TRC, 8 TSA-2000, and 8 SUB-218F units. This configuration delivered an unprecedented experience, allowing audiences from around the world to immerse themselves in Madrid's musical culture.

Sub-bass performance has always been a core strength for TSA, with the company's entire range of subwoofers garnering widespread acclaim—and the AX-215AS units used in this concert are no exception. Featuring an active, ported design and a 12-inch driver, the AX-215AS delivers low-frequency extension down to 25Hz. Enhanced low-end performance is the system's standout feature; according to the manufacturer, the ultra-long-excursion driver ensures low distortion and exceptional sonic precision, resulting in a truly majestic and powerful low-frequency sound.

The concert at Madrid's Puerta del Sol utilizes an array of three identically configured loudspeakers, a setup designed to achieve virtually seamless sonic integration. The midrange driver employs a modern flat-diaphragm design, which minimizes distortion and ensures a smoother, more stable sound. Notably, the TSA’s exceptional cabinet design delivers fully open acoustic characteristics, guaranteeing optimal sound quality across the widest possible listening area, regardless of the angle.
